How do you deal with ryze spammers?Views: 773

I had a spam message in my ryze inbox. Instead of reporting this person to ryze admin, I explained that they were in violation of ryze's terms of service. Then I directed the person to this network since we have so many resources here for people that are new to ryze.

How would YOU have responded to this person?

Hi DeAnna,

Since that person was new, you did what I would have done. Obviously, if it happens again, then yes, I would report. Good to hear from 'ya!

Karen :)

I'm a long time Ryze user but would like to refresh my rules knowledge. A message board came up with a new users discussion when I logged in this morning but I cannot figure out what network or board to go to to reread the rules. I am feeling really inadequate today. Sorry!
As for spammers, I think you did the right thing as the person was New. Also anyone new not only to Ryze but a network should be given a break and some advice. Any more I do not have time to mess with spammers, I just delete and go on with my work.

Well after I sent him what I thought was a kind letter, he responds to me saying not to email him. Whatever. You can't help everyone.

I think you did well. Overall, my reactions depend on how they approched me and whether I see them pop up on all my friends guest books or other forum members GB's. I try to give new folks the benefit of the doubt

Of course the mischief one in me would like to take the blatant spammers who make the good, professional network marketers look bad and sign them up in someone's free powerline sign up system and let them get spammed to no end by the autoresponder.

OK...I'm going to go stand in the corner now. ;-)

Keep up the great work De!

Hi DeAnna, yes I would do the same as you, especially with a new ryzer, I actually offer them help links and direct everyone here.

Yup had that happen to me too, I mean you sent me a PM Spamming me, so I responded kindly, than you get upset with me, I agree, whatever and Grow Up.

In the same token, if this person should do it again, I maybe inclined to let them know that I may/may not report them to ryze if they continued on doing it. Or in some cases, if the person is just down right ignorant or rude in their mannerism to my request, just send it off.

I try to always be fair to everyone, even on days I don't want to as I wouldn't want someone doing this to me, especially if I didn't understand. Great thread! Patricia
