Why did you join Ryze? | Views: 741 |

In order to establish one's results on Ryze, we have to examine the reasons that we joined.
For example, if your answer is 'To get more sales', then it's very likely that you will become a Spammer (albeit, unwittingly) and receive nothing in return for your efforts.
If however, you answer with: "To build referrals", you will expand your circle of influence, put in more quality effort and yield a better result.
Think about it.... why DID you join Ryze?

Dana Neal | | I joined Ryze by accident...I was asked to join a network; I set up my page, I joined a few more networks...I didn't like the original network I was on...tooo much talk, talk talk....I didn't learn anything about the benefits of Ryze until last year when I started "working" the Ryze network. I joined networks that would help me "get out there". Networks that would teach me what to do, how to grow, how to talk etc. I needed to set goals, make moves...and now I"m doing...took 3 years...but now I'm where i need to be on ryze....whew Private Reply to Dana Neal |

Melodieann Whiteley | | Initially, I joined because I was invited by a friend. But I quickly saw the value of building relationships throught the various networks - and that is why I remain a member.

Gery DiMarco | | Great question, Althea.
I did join Ryze primarily to make myself, my business and products known to others. Secondarily I wanted to meet others and learn their products or services that I might be in need of or refer forward to someone else. Ironically, to effectively achieve the primary objective one must first, actively pursue the secondary one.
It isn't done by advertising willy-nilly across the networks and begging peoples' guest books to sign ours 'cuz we signed theirs. I take part in and initiate threads allowing someone to get to know me and more importantly I, them. By doing so we gain a better understanding of each other. That in turn gives us the confidence to recommend one and other to people who might benefit from that association.
You getting my word out to 5 people looking for what I have to offer will most likely be more influential than me ringing a hundred guest books. And you most likely won't want to do that until you feel that you can trust me to not harm the relationship between yourself and your connection.
It's also one of the reasons I'm looking for ways to effectively slim down my page because it really became more a billboard for the business than a synopsis of who I am and the benefits of what I do.
You know, Althea. I probably went more into detail than I needed to but in doing so I just envisioned the answer to something else I was working on....Behold the power of networking. Thanks!

Kim Easter | | I joined Ryze as a result of a suggestion from a fellow networker. I saw a lot of value in being able to meet people from all around the world. I've always wanted a pin pal, now I have several. They have helped me open my mind to the possibilities. Deep huh? That's why. LOL!

Sheri Johnson | | I had heard from some colleages that this site was a great place to connect with professional business minded people. I see they were absolutely right. You all are great! Even when I didn't understand something, you helped me out. How awesome is that! I am still learning, but love this site and I found there are a lot of people on here that I really do recognize from business contacts and meeting new people. Private Reply to Sheri Johnson |

DeAnna Troupe, Video Marketing Specialist | | I actually joined ryze because I saw it on another network, wahm.com Now I'm on ryze more than wahm.com because of the diversity of people on ryze.
