Dana Neal | | I have this show I love to watch on the weekends when I'm not doing anything else. "Flip that House"..it's a on a cable network..I'm quite sure somebody in real estate or interior design has probably seen it at least once. Anyway, I love this show! This weekend it gave me today's topic. (So what it's a holiday!!!)
If someone can take a $60,000 house, do a few (or a lot) of renovations within a budget and sell that house in that market for $90,000 or $100,000 I think I can FLIP MY BUSINESS on goal setting and a shoe string budget.
Over the past few weeks we have talked about what we want, what we have, tips on success and what will take us into 2007 and make us money. 2007 is here and we need to act on what we want and not defeat ourselves! Amen??
We have our goals set for the first part of the year and (taking from Marcy's post on last weeks topic) what are we successful at that we haven't been working on in our businesses to "flip" them around and be prosperous every month?
For each business I'm successful at
**planning
**budgeting
**cost analysis
**advertising
**getting the word out

and I love the Flip that Business idea..how cool!! The one thing I have learned with payitforward is that you have to work advertising each and everyday...The results may be slow to come in the beginning, but the more that gets out there then the more businnes starts coming in..
I am finding that to be so true with internet marketing...I spent a month doing the same things over and over...a little each day and I have had several new contacts come my way this week...
It is easy to get frustrated not seeing imediate results, but so exciting when you see what you have been doing working...
dedicate a couple hours each day marketing your business...post on forums, traffic generators, network communities such as this etc...you will soon start seeing results...
Consistant Activity is the KEY! Much Success..Marcy
